Information we collect

Account information: email address, username, profile fields, display name, bio, location, social links, research interests, current stack, preferences, and account settings you choose to provide.

Platform activity: forum posts, replies, votes, flags, wiki suggestions, peptides followed, notification settings, support requests, and interactions with research tools.

Technical information: IP address, browser, device, operating system, referring pages, access timestamps, cookies, and diagnostic logs used to secure and operate the platform.

How we use information

We use information to operate AtlasED Aminos, authenticate users, maintain profiles and community features, deliver notifications and email digests, process support requests, moderate content, protect against abuse, improve product performance, analyze aggregate usage, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to run the platform, including hosting, authentication, database, email, analytics, and AI tooling. Current providers include Vercel, Clerk, Supabase, Resend, Groq, and related infrastructure services.

These providers process information on our behalf for the services they provide. We do not sell personal information.

Public profile and community visibility

Forum posts, replies, usernames, display names, profile photos, badges, trust indicators, and public profile details may be visible to other users and visitors. Do not post private medical, legal, financial, or identifying information you do not want visible.

Your choices

• Update profile details and notification preferences from your account settings.
• Opt out of non-essential email communications where available.
• Request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data by contacting support.
• Delete your account from settings where supported. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or platform integrity reasons.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. We retain information while accounts are active and as needed for platform operation, safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.

18+ platform

AtlasED Aminos is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn a user is under 18, we may terminate the account and delete associated information.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Material changes may be announced by email, in-app notice, or updated posting date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
