Started oral BPC-157 at 500mcg daily after persistent gut inflammation on GI-MAP testing - elevated calprotectin, low secretory IgA, multiple opportunistic organisms.
Protocol: 500mcg oral, fasted, first thing AM. No concurrent peptides for first 8 weeks to isolate variables. Added KPV at week 9.
Timeline:
- Weeks 1-2: No noticeable change
- Weeks 3-4: Bloating reduced, bowel regularity improved
- Week 6: Calprotectin down 60% on retest
- Week 12: sIgA normalized, opportunistic organisms cleared
- Month 6: Full GI-MAP retest - all markers in normal range
What I wish I knew: oral BPC-157 works through local gut mucosal repair, fasted dosing matters more than most sources say, and KPV stacked after initial healing phase accelerated final normalization.
